Key Account Manager Away-from-Home

For our client, Lotus Bakeries International, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Away-from-Home to accelerate the growth of some of the world’s most loved snacking brands. Based in Baar (Zug) and reporting to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships and driving sales across selected AfH accounts in Switzerland. Working with iconic brands such as Biscoff, nakd, TREK and BEAR, you will play a key role in expanding market presence, unlocking new business opportunities and contributing directly to the company’s commercial success. Your tasks

  • You are responsible for “Route to market” customers in Away-From-Home (AFH) such as Wholesalers, Cash & Carry, Coffee Roasters or Office Suppliers plus “AFH Channels” (e.g. Horeca, Institutional/ Catering, On-the-Go/Impulse) for all brands
  • You identify the needs of your accounts and ensure structured and conceptual key account management by taking on relevant responsibilities across Switzerland and develop sales activities in line with the company’s strategy
  • You regularly visit national and regional wholesalers as well as cash & carry customers to strengthen business relationships
  • You analyse and monitor market, assortment, and competitor developments and conduct price and assortment negotiations with customers
  • You are continuously develop potential new sales channels, seek for new business opportunities with the goal to increase distribution and penetration in Switzerland

Your competencies

  • Academic background in business administration / sales / marketing (Bachelor or Master)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in the Swiss FMCG- and AfH market, including a well‑established professional network
  • Passion and commitment for brands. This passion is strengthened by your skills in bringing ideas to life and ability to build trust and confidence within your stakeholders
  • You combine a hands-on attitude with a curiosity to grow and the talent to think strategically and build long-term customer relationships
  • You feel at ease in a multicultural and quickly changing environment, where you are able to collaborate and communicate on all levels
  • Fluent in (Swiss) German and English. Fluency in French is a plus
